Title: JD Edwards Developer

CFH or DIRECT HIRE

Salary:  Up to $120K
Pay Rate: $60/Hr. (W2)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Relocation: Will pay some relocation costs for Direct Hire.

JOB DECRIPTION:

• Our client is looking for a developer to become a full-time member of our IT team in Fort Worth, Texas.
• The perfect candidate would have solid five years of experience with JD Edwards development in E1.
• They would have at least a year experience writing C business functions in the JD Edwards development environment.
• They must be able to communicate well with Business Analysts, Developers, CNC and End Users.
• Since the perfect candidate would be hard to find, we will also consider candidates that have some experience with the JDE Development Toolset (at least 9 months – limited, but enough time to have a solid understanding) and also have STRONG skills in a language like C, C++, Java, C#, etc. and have solid SQL skills.
• They would be expected to learn (and use) C BSFNs.
• We are looking for someone who can become one of the top 10% of all JDE developers.
• Developers at our client are expected to understand and use the toolset to its maximum capabilities.
• The must be intelligent, problem solvers and naturally at ease coding and learning technology.
• We write a lot of C code within the JD Edwards environment.
• As much as possible, and where appropriate, business logic is encapsulated as Business Functions and all Business Functions are expected to be implemented as C BSFNs.
• Candidate should have strong Standard (ANSI) C skills and should have strong knowledge of the major JDE C APIs.
• Candidate with strong Business Services (BSSV) skills (both consumer and published) is a plus.
• BSSV development on TR9.1.5+ using JDeveloper 12c is also a plus.
• Our JDE environment is currently on version 9.0.
• We have, and will continue to modify JDE as needed to move our business forward.
• JDE is our system of record for all business transactions and we use more than 10 modules within JDE.
• It is a fairly complex implementation of JDE, with 11 instances ( i.e. more than Dev and Test).
• We have a variety of bolt on systems, some purchased, and some developed in house.
