Description
The Application Packager will be responsible for making the Client's business applications compatible for Windows 10. This will involve the entire process lifecycle, including Compatibility Testing, Application Remediation, Application Packaging, Application Virtualisation (where required by client), Unit & Functional testing, and staging of Apps to SCCM for deployment.. The Application Packager would have ideally worked on packaging of applications for Windows 10. Additional technical skills that the Application Packager would have include: Good knowledge & experience of MSI technology and Standard Operating Environments Good knowledge & experience on Microsoft SCCM 2012 and troubleshooting UAT and Production Issues. Packaging Applications using Microsoft SCCM and Install Shield. Good Experience of packaging applications with Install Shield/Flexera Admin Studio 14, 15. Experience on Microsoft App-V 5.x and Connection groups. Install Shield /Admin Studio, App-V, SCCM, (Trouble shooting)

Description
Fulfil the functions described in the application packaging lifecycle including, but not limited to: Provide the interaction point between the project and the application business/technical owners Support the collection of media, license procurement (where appropriate) Complete unit testing, which must be consistent at a minimum of package deployment to end point, application execution and functional testing (open, create, save, delete, load, change, report, close where applicable). Managing user acceptance testing (UAT) of the converted application directly with business partners (after Partner testing is successfully completed).the proposed approach for conducting handover to the support teams for the project including but not limited to media, application packages, application package release notes (pre-requisites, post install steps etc.) knowledge and articles and recommend process improvements where appropriate.
