Description:

 

IMPORTANT: Open to locals only. SDET with experience in Selenium and C# working on a Microsoft stack.
 
Responsibilities:

• Recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities Guides and influences the development and application of a formal GQS (Global Quality Services) Framework by applying a comprehensive understanding of company software testing methodologies, quality standards, and internal and external controls
• Provides end-to-end quality assurance throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for large-scale, complex IT initiatives spanning all SQA domains by ensuring all testware complies with the GQS framework and company testing methodology; ensuring software quality metrics are tracked across testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production Validation)
• Identifying, defining, and mitigating issues, dependencies, and risks related to testing
• Verifying the validation of test data and environment requirements
• Ensuring test plans and timelines are aligned with project/program milestones
• Promoting continuous improvement and making recommendations to management and other IT stakeholders for framework enhancements and refinements to SQA metrics; participating in and serving as a subject matter expert during gate assessments at various SDLC stages
• Serving as a primary point of contact and representing GQS on issues related to SQA controls and processes Leads the development of software quality assurance (SQA) test strategies for large-scale, complex IT initiatives spanning all SQA domains by analyzing business and technology requirements to ensure testability and traceability

 
Education/Certification: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field; Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification.; Institution of Electrical Engineering (IEEE), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), or Six Sigma certification.
 
Requirement:
Minimum 2+ years SQA experience working across multiple IT domains and business units in a corporate setting OR 2+ years SQA consulting experience.

Minimum 3+ years' experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports. Master's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field preferred.

Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification ideally.

4+ years of work experience in an IT role requiring interaction with senior management (i.e., Director level and above). 

4+ years' experience working in a large matrixed organization.

4+ years' experience working with third party IT vendors.

4+ years' experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC).

4+ years' experience writing technical documentation in a software testing or quality assurance environment.

Selenium and C# working on a Microsoft stack. Need 4-6 years of Automation Exp, would like 3-4 years of development in their background, understand how to debug.

They focus on writing Tests while in development.

Jira is used to file and manage bugs. All Test automations is in Visual Studio Test framework. C#, Jasmine, Angular, a lot of UI development, JavaScript, and powershell.

Stored procedures in SQL. Looking for Middle tear and front-end testing. Testing at functional and integration level. 

• Key tools/technologies they use include: Selenium/Jasmine (for Test Case Management), Jira (for Bug Tracking), Visual Test Studio (for Automation/PowerShell/C#), and Jasmine/Javascript (UI Testing), SQL Stored Procedures (for back-end testing) 

• Key abilities include: working in a Agile/Scrum team alongside Developers, Perform Analysis, Create Test Cases, Create Test Plans, Automate via Visual Test Studio/PowerShell/C#, Bug tracking via Jira
