Senior Business Analyst -- Tulsa,OK -- 6+ Months -- MUST BE LOCAL to IL,TX or OK

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

This position is responsible for supporting the development of a new provider system that will support operations for each of the 5 state plans. Qualified candidates will be senior level, healthcare experienced BAs that can step into the program and get up to speed quickly. 

• Will aid the product manager in gathering business and product requirements through communication with stakeholders and end users.
• Responsible for the evaluation and documentation of business processes and requirements for both production systems and new features and translating those requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Translate requirements into something that developers can understand as well as to translate the resulting questions that the developers have into something the stakeholders can understand
• Groom user stories and gain acceptance from Business owners
• Support testing and quality assurance assessments to evaluate and ensure the system functionality aligns with the user stories and expected results.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience
• Must have 2+ years healthcare BA experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills with clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and ramp up into complex projects

• Strong requirements gathering, documentation and management
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to work proactively and independently, and as part of a team to accomplish goals.
• Proficient with MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Access

 

Preferred Qualifications (in order of significance)

• Prefers BA experience around development related projects (as opposed to data related projects)
• Experience in the provider area within a health plan or for a provider (hospital or health system)

• Familiarity with agile project methodology, experience as a BA of Agile products a bonus (they should be able to describe how the two differ)
• Experience writing user stories with acceptance criteria in project management software such as JIRA or equivalent nice to have
