Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quality engineering (QE) functions in the Customer Engagement group within the Enterprise Technology Dept.  S/he will be responsible for hands-on supervision of several QE teams with a significant number of resources working off-shore.  Working knowledge of SalesForce is a must.   The Enterprise IT Quality Manager will proactively maintain high quality standards through systematic metrics and appropriate KPIs.   The candidate will work alongside PMOs, Tech Leads and Business leads collaboratively to ensure that software meets or exceeds end user requirements.     The candidate must have extensive analytical and problem-solving skills to de-risk activities to ensure a quality system is delivered on time and within budget.   Knowledge of and experience with Agile, DevOps , test case automation using Selenium is a must. Test Strategy and Planning Drives and implements the overall test strategy for line of business Definition and management of key testing deliverables - test plans, test cases,  test results, code coverage and defect analysis Performs test planning and identify risks early on within sprints Defines and drives test automation Drives Continuous Integration practices Defines strategy for QA environment and work towards Agile DevOps model Develops a test data strategy and drives the setup of test data for simulation of different scenarios Assist in developing a user acceptance testing strategy and process. Test Analysis and Reporting Analyze and assign a large variety of issues to ensure smooth and quick resolution Provide proper level of communicating up accomplishments, issues, and suggested ways of resolving these issues Proactively maintain high quality standards through metrics and KPIs Setup and management of defect management including defect metrics. Team Resource Management Regular reviews of staff performance as needed Recruitment and mentoring team members as needed Test tool suite configuration and administration Working experience with JIRA, TestRail Selenium   Test Release Management Schedule regular deployments of product builds to the QA environments Track new revisions, builds and component deployments to QA environments  Must have at least 5 years experience working as Quality Engineering Manager Must have at least 10 years in the Quality Engineering field Profound knowledge and significant   experience with structured risk-based testing Working knowledge of SalesForce A background in testing of SAAS, web-based, and content-based applications Experience in managing on-site and off-shore geographically distributed teams Experience delivering solution in a fast-paced dynamic environment Design, implementation and maintenance of all test artefacts Good knowledge of test management and At least 10 years of quality engineering experience.
