Job Description:

Upgrade Ansible Tower to the latest version.  The Production Tower version fell off of support.  Verify upgrade in Development Ansible Tower and perform in Production. 

There is a major change in the way Tower node licenses are managed between the existing version and the latest version, and this change will need to be understood and incorporated into the upgrade planning.

Eliminate local accounts for Tower and configure for access through CyberArk. 

The existing users for Tower need to be migrated to be accessing and managing user accounts through CyberArk.  The Tower Web Interface needs to be accessed via Cyberark as well.

The source for server and device inventories needs to be changed. 

Currently a set of custom inventory scripts "SCS" keeps the inventories in a MySQL database that is not tied to the CMDB.  The inventory source needs to be configured to pull from CMDB.

Write up use cases and guidance document for Tower usage and get approved by InfoSec.
