This candidate will be supporting the tru2way hardening and deployment efforts on a Linux based platform. The project has reached the phase where triage, debugging and resolving issues are the major tasks of the team. There is potential for providing site support at the client location in Philadelphia so there may be up to 25% travel required.
Must-haves
- 5-7 years of experience with OCAP (a Java based middleware that runs on set top boxes) or MHP (the European version of OCAP)
- embedded Java in a set top box environment
- digital video experience
- strong C skills
- set top testing experience
Plusses
- Computer graphics skills
- network experience in a home environment
- MOCA (multimedia over cable alliance) technology provides the backbone for whole home entertainment networks of multiple wired and wireless products
