Description:
The opportunity if for a Teradata Expert DBA/PDM who is MS SQL conversant to lead a MS SQL to TD forklift at Capital One Bank. This initial opportunity is only to forklift SQL Server to Teradata. The lead will have to interact closely with the Data Analysts that are the current application owners and be a hands-on expert in Teradata with a solid understanding of MS SQL Server. The lead can direct the other two resources as well,

Job Duties
1. Write a comprehensive Master test plan from the Functional Specification Document, Business Requirements Document, and Technical Design Document.
2. Demonstrate Experience with End to End testing of Enterprise level application with large scale integrations
3. Understand and analyze business requirements for testability and completeness.
4. Decompose requirements into test conditions, cases, and scripts, and enter into Quality Center.
5. Create project plans for test planning and execution
6. Review test cases and other testing artifacts created by other team members for completeness and accuracy.
7. Work closely with clients to create UAT test plans and oversee the execution of them.
8. Create complex, reusable test data sets.
9. Participate in functional, regression, end-to-end, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure that requirements are met.
10. Troubleshoot defects or environment issues and facilitate remediation
11. Precisely and thoroughly document defects found in Quality Center and work with developers to resolve them.
12. Develop reports in Quality Center
13. Communicate with project manager(s) for assigned project on testing status, issues, risks, etc.
14. Drive test deliverables on a project basis being responsive to schedule and quality requirements.
15. Implement test (verification and validation) practices, standards, and processes.
16. Ensure that team members are trained in the skills and tools of system test, project management, and other required competencies of the Application Test Center.
17. Partner with client groups to ensure that the testing strategy is understood, in use, that system test prerequisites are completed, and that system test outputs are analyzed.

24. ? Education BS/BA in computer science, engineering, information systems preferred and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
25. ? 5-8 years of experience in all facets of Quality Assurance testing and User Acceptance testing
26. ? Ability to work both in a team environment and on an individual basis.
27. ? Experience working with Offshore development projects
? Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
