Title: .Net Developer
Location:Bethesda,MD (LOCAL Only)
Duration: 3+ Years
GC or Citizens Preffered or H1b
Face to Face interview is required
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Work in a team setting with other developers to develop and unit test the applications
· Account for the work quality and timely delivery of all tasks as assigned by the technical lead.
· Work collaboratively with other team members to review the code, provide suggestions and improvements
· Work with the team members to create test plans, test cases and reports
· Familiarity with source control, defect tracking, debugging, etc.
· Communicate and coordinate with users during user acceptance testing
· Provide production support for applications during and after normal business hours
· Resolve production issues and respond to all communications in a timely manner
· Create and maintain documentation with minimal assistance
· Implement best practices in configuration management
· Have strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks/initiatives with multiple deadlines
· Demonstrate the willingness to learn and suggest new ideas
Qualifications:
Technical Skills Requirements
· 8+ years of experience in programming applications based on OOP principles
· Develop systems and applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
· Advanced C# and Oracle 11G skills including troubleshooting and performance-tuning
· Experience in constructing complex queries and stored procedures for Oracle databases
· 6+ years' experience in designing application using VB.Net/C#/CSS/HTML/ASP.NET
· 6 Years' experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures
· 6 Years of working experience with Oracle 11g or SQL server
· Experience with Visual Studio 2010 and 2012
· Experience with .Net 4.0/4.5, WCF, MVC
· Experience designing multi-threaded applications
· Experience with tools like Subversion, JIRA, HP Service Manager, VISIO and Citrix or their equivalent is a must
Additional Requirements
· Face to Face interview is required
· Bachelor's degree or higher from a four year college or university in related field
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.
· Ability to be a self-starter in a dynamic and fast paced environment
· Strong knowledge of object oriented software development concepts and practices
· Strong knowledge of and experience in the implementation of design patterns in .NET applications
Desired Skills
· Oracle 11G server experience
· Experience designing Web Services
· Experience supporting interfaces with COTS applications
· Experience utilizing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and phases
· Experience supporting Federal clients, preferably with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)
· Previously Held a Public Trust position
