Front End Web Developer

Location: Dunwoody, GA (Need locals or nearby)

Duration: 6-12 months Contract

 

US Citizen or Green Card needed.

 

• Web 2.0 JavaScript developer to work with the team who can evaluate a new video plugin (being developed by a third party), to build test pages and JavaScript, and to eventually integrate it into the Simulcast platform (aka the buyer/seller clients).
• The developer MUST be proficient with JavaScript, Jasmine, and JQuery.  Ideally, they would have a familiarity with knockout and/or require.js which is what we used to develop the client applications. Additionally, Node.js would be beneficial.
• They do not need to have any background in audio/video but if they did that would be a huge plus as would a familiarity with Java.
• This person must be capable of operating on a codebase (Web 2.0 Auction) using Git, reverse engineering the existing codebase with minimal external support, and apply changes to support the installation of the new plugin and the utilization of it within the buyer/seller application.
• They should be willing to work in an Agile environment, both on their own and pairing. They should also be familiar with JS unit testing using Jasmine.
