Position: Sr. UX Designer
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
UX Designer should have a drive to work independently and collaborate with highly talented product stakeholders. You should love to drill down into loads of business data and transform it into intuitive experience design.
This contractual position is at Redmond, WA. You will be a part of highly experienced product team who will be building a multi-faceted big data application.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with product management to understand user stories to define user workflows.
• Documenting design solutions through sketches, wireframes, storyboards, UI flow charts, high fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes if needed.
• Delivering detailed designs and guidelines for product engineering team.
• Tracking design project goals, documenting the progress and collaborating with Visual Experience Designers who will be working in different time zones.
Designer must have:
• Eye for details, supreme understanding of contemporary web design patterns and UI standards.
• Excellent sense of typographical and diagrammed design elements and attention to detail in all elements of design.
• Understanding of UI grids and knowledge of responsive design paradigm.
• Portfolio that will illustrate your previous experience of designing business applications.
• 4-6 years' professional experience in usability design.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Tools: Expert with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator & Omni Graffle.
