Data/Business Analyst (P&C insurance experience required)

Location: Charlotte, NC (must be on-site 100%)

Interview:  (phone and likely a video Skype)

Duration:  At least 6 months

 

Opportunity:

As an Insurance Data/Business Analyst, you will be expected to work within a team to help deliver solutions and insights. You will be working within our customers' business teams, working with their insurance data in order to provide valuable business insights, working towards compliance and regulatory goals, supporting digital transformation or customer experience initiatives

 

 

Skills: 

·         An established insurance background in P&C

·         SQL experience is a must have

·         Exposure to all aspects of the insurance business including product design, marketing, sales, operations, claims, underwriting, finance, regulatory

·         Some experience of systems design, implementation, test and acceptance

·         A focus on the use of insurance data for either regulatory reporting or business intelligence

·         Experience in the analysis and reporting of insurance data including strong SQL skills, data modelling and the super-user use of a business intelligence platform

·         Accustomed to providing and annotating dashboards and report packs with commentary based on insights and analysis

• Practical experience writing test cases and understanding the different test cycles

·         Experience of data management and governance techniques

·         Accustomed to running or contributing towards business workshops

·         A good understanding of regulatory requirements/capital adequacy such as Solvency 2 or similar

·         Good communication skills
