General Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Applications Development Specialist to join their robust iOS or Android Development team in Jersey City, New Jersey. 

All potential candidates must be highly competent in working with the newer iOS or Android driven technologies which means one must be highly proficient in building phone applications running on the Mac OS platform.

The selected individual will become a member of the First Data team focused on building proficient iPhone driven applications to enhance the extremely popular Apple iPay applications and beyond in new product development

As part of the screening process and as a final step, any candidate getting past the phone and FTF interviews will move on to the final step which will be a do at home assignment. The individual will be asked to create an application which will support the creation of a payload by using the data entered into the fields. 

The application must handle rotation meaning a send button must be developed while assuring that every request is able to call the back end of the application.In other words, the client is seeking a resource with the ability to build a fully functional iOS or Android application on his or her own.

Experience/Skills Required: Five or more years of high level iOS or Android (iPhone SDK) experience involving the use of Objective C and Core Java for the purpose of building fully functional Mobile Applications for commercial banking and credit card transaction processing systems. Must be a visionary with the ability to take on the task at hand and run with it. If selected, will become a member of a very impressive new product development team. KEY technical skills to include and required: XCode, Cocoa Touch/Cocoa Framework, iPhone Simulator, JSON, Photoshop and the ability to build software which will create interface control elements such as slider, 

switches and buttons. Will be required to interact with the iOS which includes features such as SWIPE, TAP, PINCH & REVERSE PINCH, all of which have specific definitions within the context 

of the iOS and its multiple touch interface technology.

Experience/Skills Required: Degreed with current, applicable work experience, meaning prior work involving either a SQL Server Developer or SQL Data Analyst with prior 

DW input & output analytical knowledge on a global scope. Prior Banking/Financial Services work experience would be a plus but not a requirement.
