QA Data Engineer/MDMChicago, IL Long Term Mandatory Skills: Data Engineering and MDM, GCP, Big query, Collibra Informatica,Talend  SQL server, Oracle, Cloud SQL Business Objects, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BIAround 10 years Data Quality testing experience; minimum 2 years as a Data Quality lead in Retail Industry developing and implementing data quality management principles around master data as well as transactional and 3rd party data, especially in Retail industry.Strongly familiar with key data concepts such as Data Quality Management, Data Profiling, Data Aggregation, Metadata Management, Data Standards, Data Dictionary, and Data DomainsWork with technical and operational subject matter experts to understand and collect metadata about systems, processes, reports, controls, data movement, and business terminology.Document inventory of current state data quality controls at enterprise level. Review of DQ progress, set new policies/efforts, review system & process changesWork across development and business teams to understand and aid in data management and governance requirements.Perform root cause analysis on data issues and recommend data quality controls to resolve gaps/issuesMeasure and monitor – Baseline assessment of DQ, automate tracking and publish regular status (scorecard) updates on data quality progress to IT and business stake holdersEnsure measurable improvement of Data quality by identifying, developing, and implementing innovative DQ capabilities, strategies, approaches, and services.Knowledge of requirements gathering, design methodology and building DQ test plans and test cases.Work with appropriate team members to ensure data deliverables are complete and the design supports the strategic data visionAssess emerging DQ technologies, and make appropriate recommendations based on IT & business needsHands-on experience in using Test Management / Defect Management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, etc.Technology & Tools –  Could Technologies – GCP, Big query, Collibra.ETL Tools – Informatica,Talend, etc.Reporting tools - Business Objects, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI etc.Database – SQL server, Oracle, Cloud SQL
