New long term Java assignments - multiple positions opening and need candidates!

Location:  St. Louis, MO (prefer local and near local; but, will consider out of area)

Duration:  ongoing (long term)

$40/hr

 

Qualifications

The candidate must possess the following technical experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development utilizing Enterprise Java technologies.

• Experience with Web Services & demonstrated experience in specific technologies including EJB, JMS, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, SOAP, XML-RPC and XML.

• Experience working with Weblogic Application Server.

• In-depth knowledge of the Application Development Lifecycle.

• Solid knowledge of design patterns.

• At least four years of experience utilizing Oracle/SQL.

• Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques.

Desired skills:

• Experience with Test First Development Methodology.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Experience with Maven.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

SUMMARY:  Mainly focus on the core Java, Spring and Hibernate - strong Object Oriented Design skills and strong communication skills.
