Position: Senior  Java Developer

Location: Seattle,WA (Locals who can attend Face to face Interview)

Duration: 6 Plus Months

Rates : $ 45   per hour

 

Job Summary:

This is a senior-level Developer position.  We are seeking a talented person with solid object-oriented analysis, design, and development experience to help create and maintain technical solutions to support our internal business customers. This person will be instrumental in the design, development, deployment and maintenance of state-of-the-art business information systems for Client's ecommerce team.  This position requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment. The successful candidate will be customer oriented, results driven (i.e. solutions oriented) and passionate about delivering innovative quality services to our customers. This position reports to the Software Development Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

•       Play a key role in the design and development of enterprise-class web application software

•       Explore and recommend infrastructure as required to support the needs of the executive, business and marketing groups to empower internal customers

•       Contribute to the daily maintenance, stability, and tuning of existing processes

•       Other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications (bolded technologies are strongly preferred):

Required Skills:

•       5+ Years of industry experience using an OO language (Java/J2EE)

•       3+ years of enterprise experience with Java Frameworks (Hibernate / EJB 3, Spring, JSP)

•       In depth experience with Application and Web Servers (JBoss, Tomcat, Resin, WebSphere, WebLogic)

•       Unix/Linux platform experience (CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise)

•       3+ years experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)

•       Intermediate to advanced SQL skills

•       2+ years of experience developing transactional web services (SOAP, Restful) in a SOA environment

•       Full product development life cycle application experience

•       BS in Computer Science or related technical field

 

Additional Desired Skills:

•       Experience with Agile methodologies (eXtreme Programming, Scrum)

•       Experience with IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ, NetBeans)

•       Experience with build tools (Maven, Ant)

•       Experience with continuous integration tools (Hudson, Cruise Control, Continuum)

•       Experience with revision control tools (Subversion, CVS, ClearCase)

•       Experience with testing & analysis tools (JUnit, TestNG)

 

 

 Please note that the shortlisted candidates need to attend an online test of one hour duration.
