Position: DotNetNuke Web Developer

Location: Boston, MA          

Duration: 6 - 24 months

Rate: $45

 

Web .NET Developer

Summary of Job: 

MassDOT is seeking a VB.NET or C# ASP.NET Web Developer with experience in DotNetNuke.

Duties include DotNetNuke module development and conversion of ASP.NET pages to DotNetNuke modules.

 

 

Required skills:

·         ASP.NET, VB.NET and/or C#

·         Experience converting ASP.NET pages to DotNetNuke modules

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills - Must be able to understand high-level business requirements and work with team members to identify obstacles and find solutions

·         Experience using and integrating existing 3^rd party DNN modules

·         Experience creating DNN modules

·         Experience building and maintaining Web site maps using Google Maps APIs, with a focus on integrating live databases.

·         Experience in writing technical documentation for new and enhanced applications

·         Experience in performing thorough functional, systems, and regression testing of application changes

·         Working experience with the following:

Internet Information Server (IIS)
Enterprise Development: .Net, XML, Web Services, WCF
Microsoft operating systems: Window

 

 

Preferred:

·         Installation and maintenance of DNN on web server

·         Experience with DNN in a Web Farm environment

·         Experience with front end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and AJAX

·         Strong knowledge of browser compatibility issues, DOM, architectures and libraries

·         Experience with Web Accessibility Compliance

 

Daily tasks & activities:

·         Conversion of ASP.NET pages to DNN modules

·         Maintenance on existing pages and DNN modules

·         Some DNN administration

• Providing technical estimates to requirements
