Need is for technical engineer with the following technical skills:
.NET development (C#)
Database (SQL Server)
Business Intelligence tool set (Cognos)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important. In addition to a wide variety of technical challenges there will be significant opportunities to interact with diverse internal client groups, e.g., database, architecture, products and tools, etc.
Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are loosely defined and where information is available but must be further manipulated. Once decisions are made, is able to follow and direct action to implement intended results. Productively confronts conflict until resolved. Knows how to execute to get things done. Optimizes the use of all available resources.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluates systems specifications regarding customer requirements, transforming business specifications into cost-effective, technically correct solutions
Prioritizes work and manages assigned tasks within established budget objectives and customer priorities
Responsible for adhering to established quality control and security protocols
Provides the division, department and business area management with timely and accurate information regarding the status and performance of the assigned project(s)
Builds, leverages, and maintains effective alliances across technical and business community
Interacts with customers to achieve efficient, effective results
