Job Description	The applicant must have the following qualifications:       *       Expert at building web application using ajax and other technologies, UI design.       *       Hands on experience with one or more of Swing, JFace, SWT (UI-specific) or GWT       *       solid experience with HTML/CSS and styling web applications.       *       Excellent understanding and use of SOAP/RESTful webservices.       *       Hands-on programming experience on a Linux/Unix-type OS.       *       Good understanding of Unix command line operations.       *       Excellent understanding of at least one compiled-code language from (Java, C++).       *       Fair-to-good understanding of at least one additional language from (Java, C/ObjC/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, SQL, JavaScript).       *       Excellent understanding of OO concepts.       *       Solid understanding of revision control basics.       *       Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills. The following skills are highly desired       *       Hands-on network administration/engineering.       *       Database administration/replication.       *       SQL stored procedures/functions.       *       PostgreSQL.       *       Open source project development       *       Experience with  JBoss, JDO, Eclipse, MYSQL, JDBC. Specific  Responsibilities include:       *       Requirements gathering and writing functional specification documents.       *       Implementation of UI layer, business objects, tests and some back end or database code in GWT/Java.       *       Customer facing and engineer facing documentation.       *       Maintenance of production code and unit tests
