 Position Title

 Software Developer â€" ASP/VB.Net & SQL Server 2008

Summary

This resource will be responsible for designing, developing and
maintaining the clinical information software and associated applications.
 
Major Responsibilities

1. Design and code web-based, business applications, along with supporting
the maintenance of existing applications

2. Understand System design elements, trade-offs and rationale to
 recommend future choices.

3. Maintain current knowledge of applicable database and algorithm choices.

4. Translate System requirements into detailed, written technical
specifications.

5. Participate in testing and validation of software against established
 criteria.

6. Coordinate document control for specification and source code.

7. Participate in development and improvement of information systems
policy and procedures.

8. Participate in all software release and system life cycle activities in
 accordance with applicable policy and procedures.

9. Track software tools and techniques, and recommend development
approaches and software/hardware upgrades to maximize usefulness of
System.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.
 


Experience Required:

ï‚· B.S. in computer science or related field, and 5 years relevant
software development experience, or an equivalent combination of education
and experience

ï‚· Must possess advanced level skills using MS.Net Framework 3.5 and
 above, VB.Net, SQL Server, Ajax, Web Services, XML/XSLT/XPATH

ï‚· Minimum 5 years experience in ASP.NET, VB.Net (utilizing n-tier
architecture), IIS and Microsoft SQL Server 2008
 
ï‚· Minimum 5 years experience in Web Application Development and User
Interfaces

ï‚· of Minimum 3 years hands-on system architecture and design experience
using OOAD

ï‚· Minimum 2 years experience with Team Foundation Server
 
ï‚· Minimum 2 years experience in Ajax

ï‚· experience Must have implementing Web Services and using XML
technologies (XML, XSL, XSD, WSDL)

ï‚· application Strong interface design experience and knowledge of
 browser compatibility issues is required

ï‚· technical Excellent writing, problem solving, organizational skills

ï‚· on Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously

ï‚· in Ability to communicate effectively verbally and writing
 


Experience Desired:

ï‚· Crystal Reports, Business Objects and OLTP/OLAP Data
