Here is a new position for Canon in Manhasset Long Island (Right Over the Queens NYC Border)...This is a Support Analyst position with Strong Business/Production Support Exp with Enhancements/new development...Oracle 8i Support Analyst/Developer:

 

Description:

Oracle 8i Support Analyst/Developer:

Oracle PL/SQL Developer Forms/Reports 6i (Must be strong on Forms 6i) Strong PL/SQL-SQL-(SQR is a Plus), PL/SQL Cartridge is a Plus/Desirable, Oracle 8i, Unix shell scripting, HTML, Javascript, ASP or JSP experience, Pro*C(This is a Plus),

Good solid analytical and communication skills is a MUST, this is for a long term 1 Year Plus (Possibly Much Longer) consulting assignment.

Face to Face interview is Mandatory, looking for a local Tri-State Candidate.

 

Overview:

Oracle Forms/Reports-PL/SQL-SQL is the foundation of this position, ASP or JSP experience (Flexible on this based on your overall technical ability)

Solid Production Support, with strong Analytical/Business Process experience is a must.

Analyst aspect is very important. Person must be able to speak with users and get specs. They must understand the functional piece. Job consists of new development, enhancements and production support. 

Knowledge of Business Process Flow/ Supply Chain from PO to Invoice is a Plus; Production Support (Resolving production issues) is key part of the job

 

Position:

Oracle 8i Support Analyst/Developer:

Programmer Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL Developer Forms/Reports 6i, Must be very strong on Forms) PL/SQL Cartridge is Most Desirable, if the Candidate doesn't have PL/SQL Cartridge, Strong Javascript, HTML and PL/SQL skills are needed.

-Pro*C-is a Plus

-MS Office Suite

-XML

-FTP

-AutoSys Admin a Plus

-ASP/JSP (One or both are a Plus)

-Good analytical and communication skills

-Very Strong Communication skills

-Production Support Experience

-Strong Business/Functional Experience

-This is an immediate need/Hire

 

-Face to Face interview is Mandatory (Manager really prefers to initial face to face interviews), local NY/NJ/CT Tri-State Candidate, If Candidate doesn't live close the client in Manhasset Long Island (Over the Queens NYC Border) Candidate Must be willing to relocate even closer.
