.NET C# Developer

Minneapolis, MN

06 months contract

$45/hr is the max

 

Direct client requirement

 

Job Duties:

·         Work with business analyst & application architect to understand business and technical requirements

·         Define application design (high-level and detailed)

·         Develop/maintain critical system components, utility libraries, and generic frameworks

·         Participate in application development tasks as assigned

·         Provide technical direction to team members

·         Mentor junior team members in .NET technologies

·         Create application builds

·         Coordinate application installation/deployment/rollout

·         Provide post implementation support

·         Profile and analyze application code to make due changes that result in improved performance

 

Job Requirements:

·         .NET C# 2.0, 3.5, 4.0

·         Visual Studio 2008, 2010

·         Windows Forms experience, including developing custom controls

·         SQL Server 2005 / SQL Compact 3.1

·         XML/XML Schemas, interacting with web services

·         Object-oriented programming, analysis and design

·         Design patterns

·         Solid understanding of multi-threaded development

·         Unified modeling language

·         Experience in profiling and analyzing code using Visual Studio tools

·         Experience with Silverlight (WPF also acceptable)

 

Desirable:

·         Experience in mobile development (Windows Mobile, .NET Compact)

·         Experience in C/C++

·         Experience with native Win32 API

·         Silverlight 4

·         Microsoft Expression Blend 4

·         Telerik Silverlight Controls

·         Java JDK 6

·         Exposure to Java EE technology (JSP, JAXB, EJB, JDBC, etc.)

·         DB2 on z/OS, stored procedures

·         HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX

·         CA Harvest change management tool/Meister build tool
