Job Title : Software Engineer
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Duration: 6 Months+

Position Summary

Looking for a Software Engineer who has strong computer science fundamentals. Responsibilities include the specification, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of server-side software applications utilizing C++, C, Java, and SQL.  The software developer will be responsible for solving intriguing problems with our latest technology, and partner with other team members, customers, and vendors throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Qualifications

稗S in Computer Science or related field. MS in Computer Science or related field is desired.
彦ive or more years of experience developing multithreaded and distributed application software systems.
彦ive or more years of experience developing software applications with C++, C, Java, and SQL in a Unix environment. Perl and shell scripting is a plus.
彦ive or more years of experience utilizing formal development methodologies.
彦amiliarity with technologies such as MPEG video compression, video/audio coding, ATSC, satellite communications, and TCP/IP networking is desired.
百trong problem solving and analytical skills.
髭xcellent written/verbal communication skills.
Additional Requirements

膝ood analytical skills, detail oriented, quick study, and self-motivated.
柊ble to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
柊bility to multitask within an environment of rapidly changing priorities.
姫roactively solve problems and be a team player.
髭ffective time management and communication skills a must.
髭xperience with analysis and support of production/live systems a plus.
筆ust be willing to work occasional extended hours.
