Sharepoint Developer

Location: Seattle, WA

6 Months

 

The primary responsibility of the Sharepoint Web Developer is to develop web based solutions for interactive, database-driven, sites and applications. Solutions are developed for a diverse customer base and audience, requiring the developer to be sensitive to cross-browser and cross-platform issues.

 

Technical Requirements:

·         5+ years experience developing and deploying Internet sites and applications.

·         Experience with SharePoint 2007/MOSS.

·         Experience with JQuery is a plus.

·         Expert knowledge of  xHTML and CSS.

·         Strong experience with ASP.NET/C#.

·         Experience with SharePoint Feature development and SharePoint Web Part development.

 

The Web Developer position also requires knowledge of the environment into which an application is being deployed. A Developer should be comfortable working with WSS 3.0, MOSS 2007, Windows Server 2008, 2003, 2000, XP and Microsoft Internet Information Server.

 

Additional Desirable Skills:

·         CMS application development and integration.

·         Experience with XML/XSLT.

·         Visual Source Safe or other Code Management systems.

·         Object-oriented design and development strategies.

·         Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, VS.Net.

 

Required skills:

·         Bachelor's Degree Preferred in Computer Science, Math or MIS.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Familiarity with product development life cycles.

·         Must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment with Project Managers, Designers, and other Developers.

·         Must be flexible and be willing to move between projects and tasks as needed.

·         Must be a quick study and willing to evaluate, learn and implement new and emerging technologies.
