4-6 years of application development experience having worked extensively on databases such as SQL server 2005 and above.

 

Necessary Skills

 

·      Expert in MS SQL Server 2005/2008.

·      Extensively worked on T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, cursors, functions, views, indexes, synonyms.

·      Skilled in writing dynamic queries to update/validate table values in multiple databases and servers.

·      Transformed data from one server to other servers using tools like Bulk Copy Program (BCP), Data Transformation Services (DTS).

·      Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization and running Database Consistency Checks using DBCC Utilities.

·      Used profilers and index tuning wizards for performance improvement of data issues.

·      Used Performance Monitor/SQL Profiler to solve dead locks/long running queries.

·      Hands on experience in debugging Stored Procedures and Triggers.

·      Created simple DTS packages using SQL server 2005 and above.

·      Hands on Experience in LINQ (Language Integrated Query).
