Position: Project Manager

Location: Somerset, MA

Duration: 1 Year (Contract)

Rate: Negotiable

 

Qualifications:

·         Minimum 10 years industrial or Fossil power plant project management experience.  

Responsibilities:

·         Work with station project manager to scope, schedule, estimate, complete appropriation request, place contracts and execute.

·         Proficiency required with MS Word, Excel.

·         Prefer experience with SAP and MS Project.

·         Must have ability to manage multiple projects and be proficient at multi tasking.   

Responsibilities:

·         This role manages and directs a significant long-term project with business unit wide impact. 

·         Directs single project team and manages total project scope from conception to final completion. 

·         Manages necessary resources and administration from within and outside the organization. 

·         Typically reports to a project director, executive or director. 

·         Incumbents are in a temporary position or work assignment. 

·         This title is used only for the duration of the project.

Qualifications

·         Experience in project management, relevant technologies, and in the assigned project areas.

·         Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.

·         Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.

·         Strong team building skills.

·         Negotiating skills.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Education

·         Bachelors preferred
