Position: Java/J2EE Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 11 Months
Rate :$35/hr

This is a back fill and can start immediately.


Skills:-
Need Java, J2EE, Struts 2, Ajax. 
J unit and Eclipse would be a plus. 
This is primarily front end development with a little bit of server stuff, but not a lot. 
Agile methodology a plus. 
MUST have solid understanding of basic OO foundational principles. 
Must be able to hit the ground running.  Be able to work independently, ask pertinent questions, be very proactive, self driven, willing to speak up and provide suggestions when they see a different approach might be helpful.
 
This is working on fedex.com online shipping application.  Basically they are adding a new "tab" for freight shipping and introducing it to their customers by integrating a new application into an existing application and adding some new homegrown middleware. 
 
OO will be very important to this project. Communication skills must be excellent.
