Job Description:
Required Skills:
Principal Responsibilities:
Support, develop, test and document highly reliable client and server-side systems in a structured, disciplined, and fast-moving environment.
Be comfortable develop systems using a variety of languages.
Develop within a controlled process including design and code reviews.
Work with other technology groups in a front office environment.
Support the production environment, assist in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents, and maintain the stability and integrity of systems.
Basic Qualifications:
7-10+ years of appliction development experience.
3-5+ years of experience with Java.
Strong experience with C++ or C# will also be considered.
Experience in Unix.
Experience working with Sybase or other relational databases.
Working experience with distributed systems and multi-tier architectures.
Strong problem solving skills/analytical skills.
Strong communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications
MFC/C++ GUI development experience is a plus.
Financial industry experience, equity shares and/or derivatives sales/trading is a plus.
