Technical Musts
1. 5+ years experience in Java, STRUTS, J2EE, SOA, XML and other Internet related technologies
a. Strong in Struts configuration and development on Struts based architecture
b. Good understanding of http request life cycle
c. Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, DOJO
d. Test Driven Development using JUnit
e. Good understanding of Object Oriented design and programming methodologies
f. Good understanding of DB. Oracle 8-9i
2. Exposure to Lean Software development
Technical Pluses
1. Preferred Broadvision Commerce and Enterprise 6.0 - 7.1
2. Good to have experience with Web Services and JBoss
3. Knowledge of Open Source and Scripting languages like Python
4. Experience with version control applications and build process (Subversion preferred)
Project Overview:
The consultant will be responsible for working on standard changes to the web application, as well as performing functionality enhancements. Consultant will be working with the business to analyze, design, develop, and review the code required. He/she will also perform testing for the projects and provide status updates to management.
