Sr.QA Analyst/ QA Engineer (8+ Years)

Somerset, New Jersey

Responsibilities :

• Executing system testing, integration testing, regression testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing in accordance with defined test cases and test plans
• Confirming and documenting any defect found and liaising with the technical team for fixes
• Working closely with the testing team, development team and business analysts, analyzing test requirements, creating and documenting test cases in a structured and reusable format
• Communicate product readiness, level of quality, and testing results to managers, team leads, developers, and other team members
• Document problems, recommend improvements, and provide results of testing
• Providing assistance and guidance to business stakeholders to achieve the objectives of User Acceptance Testing 
• Must be able to meet product/project deadlines
• Functional knowledge of two or more Medicare business processes
• Experience with SQL queries to retrieve, update, delete and manage data
• Experience in quality assurance and testing of software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2003/2007 Word and Excel software applications
• Working knowledge of health care claims and quality assurance methodologies, and requirements gathering.
• Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively work independently and within a group
• Attention to detail
• Skilled at performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and changing focus quickly as implementation and production needs change
• Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong self-initiative with a desire to achieve
• Ability to escalate testing issues accordingly
• Demonstrating a professional image and behaving in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Required Skills:

• 5+ Years Experience in quality assurance and testing of software
• 3+ Years Experience with SQL queries to retrieve, update, delete and manage data
• 3+ Years Experience 

Desired Skills:

• Ability to effectively work independently and within a group
