Title: Application Architect

Location: Long Island, NY

Duration: 5+ Months

Rate: $75/hr

Requirements:

• College degree with a major in computer engineering/computer science or a related area and an additional 8 years experience in a position leading java software development teams

• Must have good oral and written communication skills.

• Requires solid understanding of sql , database modeling and design.

• Working experience with some or all of the following technologies: Java, Spring and Spring MVC, WebServices (SOAP / REST), Jboss, XML, XSLT, Javascript (jquery preferred), AJAX, J2EE, AND, JUnit, Subversion, UML, Hibernate, Maven, cvs, subversion.

• Experience interfacing with end users and stakeholders translating business requirements into functional specifications and designs

• Solid understanding and demonstrable use of open source Java frameworks and libraries

• Oracle Database experience 3+ years

• A commitment to test driven development methodologies
