Urgent Need: SAP Functional Analyst - MM

Position: SAP Functional Analyst - MM

LOC: North Denver, CO 

Duration: 3-6 Months 

Rate: Open  (please send all inclusive rate)

 

Member of a high performing team focusing on delivering solutions that support business goals and needs through leveraging existing SAP technology investments. Responsible for the maintenance and design of systems, processes and solutions to support Supply Chain planning, execution and sourcing. Interacts directly with other IT functions and departments, business and stakeholders to build strong relationships and develop deep knowledge of business processes and needs. Has the ability to understand business processes and how systems and solutions support and enhance these processes. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

List the degree or certification required.  List the years of experience in the related field required.

• Bachelors Degree in computer science or business related major 
• SAP or industry functional certifications a plus
• 3 - 5 years experience with related SAP MM required, experience with PP and SD (using variant config) a plus.  

Qualifications: 

• Detailed knowledge of systems and business processes within SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, SD). 
• Has configured and supported respective function and understands integration points between SAP MM and other SAP applications and modules specifically PP, FICO and SD. 
• Has previously developed and maintained an SAP application (minimum release 470, preferably ECC) for SAP MM module and has an understanding of and experience with integration across SAP. 
• Proven ability to translate business requirements, processes and designs into well documented system designs. 
• Candidate must have strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Individual must have a thorough understanding of the main business processes within respective function. 
• Combines technical competence with business and commercial awareness and possesses good inter-personal skills, especially in handling contacts of all types and at all levels. 
• Has a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.    
• Is self-motivated, take initiative and be able to work in a team-based environment, takes responsibility and shows skill in the management of change.    
• Recognizes impacts of changes and ensures appropriate due diligence performed before making changes and is thorough in testing solutions before implementing to avoid rework. 
• A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and take direct requests from business and IT colleagues, strong presentation skills with ability to provide end user training. 
• Completes assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner with minimum direction. 
• Has an understanding and recognizes the importance of the software development lifecycle processes and typical problems associated with the implementation of information systems, from initial concept through development and implementation to operation and support.    
• Demonstrates a sound knowledge and application of IT change, release, problem, incident and continuity management processes. 
• Demonstrates strong knowledge and application of testing strategies, methodologies and has been responsible for executing unit, integration and user acceptance testing. 
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and closure. 
• Good organizational skills, detailed oriented. 
• Demonstrates the highest standards of professional behavior in dealing with clients, colleagues and staff.
