Title: ETL Quality Assurance Consultant
Duration: 3+ Months with possible extension (start date September 2nd week)
Location: DC Area

Job Description:

ETL Quality Assurance Consultant:
•        Strong experience with writing and utilizing SQL queries for data verification of ETL processes (5+ years).
•         Strong experience with estimating testing activities for projects.
•         Experience in running and monitor ETL workflows.
•         5+ years experience in software QA and testing.
•         5+ years experience testing Informatica for Data Warehouse projects.
•         At least 3 years of development experience with Informatica.
•         Effective communication and problem solving skills.
•         Experience writing ad hoc SQL queries and verify data against requirements or software design for ETL.
•         Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment where the team is engaged in multiple projects at the same time.
•         Experience testing data-intensive reporting systems
•         Experience reviewing database schema designs for understanding and from a test perspective.
•         Experience with code reviews and ETL designs reviews
•         Strong experience in design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional requirements.
•         Experience in creating Requirements Traceability Matrices showing traceability of requirements to test cases to determine if requirements have been met.
•         Experience in Informatica Data Explorer and Data Quality.
•         Experience in requirements review and provide feedback to requirements analyst / project manager.
•         Ensure adherence to CLIENT'S Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, and Project Management processes;
•         Adhere to Quality Assurance standards and participate in User Acceptance testing to assure compliance;
•         Support Quality Assurance of project plans by providing task breakdowns and level of effort estimates;
•         Identify and report issues in Team Track (Serena Business Mashups)
•         Provide information to developers and PMs on issues entered in Team Track (Serena Business Mashups).
