Project Manager with Banking Exp

Location : Charlotte NC

Duration : 6+months

Telecom MSA Program - Voice Conversions
Work with internal and vendor teams to identify opportunities to reduce expense in support of a new Telco Master Service Agreement (MSA).

Implementation may include the management of the following:
Discovery and implementation of voice circuit conversions in support of expense reduction.

Resource Role/Skills/Scope:
A project manager role is necessary to manage the retail store conversions and decommission of equipment.  
The project manager will be responsible for:
Coordinating all implementation tasks identified.
Creating/managing project plans
Forecasting and managing direct expenses related to project
Gathering project requirements
Working directly with business partners to define scope of work
Managing risk and quality assurance
Report on project status clearly, consistently, and reliably to management and team members
Communicate key decisions, changes in process or direction to the Program Manager
Communicate project issues or concerns to the Program Manager
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels management and staff
Anticipate and prevent problems by identifying, addressing, and informing potentially impacted parties when issues arise
Act as the single point of contact and escalation point for project issues

 

Responsible for creating and maintaining the following project documentations:


  oProject Definition
  oStatement of Work
  oProject Risk Assessment
  oProject Change Controls
  oIssue Tracking
  oAction Items
  oRoles and Responsibilities
  oMeeting Agendas and Minutes
  oKey Decision Tracking
  oLessons Learned
  oImplementation Tasks - Scope of Work per site
  oSite Lists


Is responsible for leading the project team, which may include contractors and implementation vendors.  
Sets up the project in PlanView and maintains the required project documentation.  
Is responsible for managing a project budget, generating PO requests, monitoring invoices, and creating project change controls for changes in scope/budget.  
Is responsible for facilitating/hosting kick-off meetings, weekly team meetings, project review meetings, issues resolution meetings and other ad hoc meetings as required.  
If an outage occurs during the installation phase of the project, the Project Manager acts as the facilitator and will pull together a group of subject matter experts to troubleshoot the issue.  The team member typically hosts/facilitates meetings and tracks the deliverables until there is a resolution.  
Establishes roles and responsibilities for projects coordinators to ensure implementation tasks are assigned and effectively managed.
Manages relationship with vendors
Manages relationship with the line of business
Manages relationship with other technical and business partners
Excellent Verbal and Written Communications Skills
Detail oriented
Diligent about completing project documentation and reporting requirements.
Experience with equipment rollout or refresh projects
Self-motivated
Resourceful in resolving issues and development new processes
Previous Wells Fargo PM experience a plus
Proficient user of MS Project required
