Location: Newark, NJ
Duration: 12 months
Rate: $70 per/hr on w2
This position is accountable for the general oversight of multiple Information Technology projects within a division, or for cross-divisional projects, that may vary in complexity and duration. This position directs, manages and implements program management activities, to meet initiatives that support the success of the business operations for Client. This includes direct accountability for program or project execution from beginning to end, assembling and leading the program or project team, or teams, delegating tasks, identifying, managing and negotiating resources, and communicating project related information to the Divisional PMO or appropriate stakeholders . This position will adhere to guidelines and processes to ensure that divisional objectives correlate with enterprise initiatives through communication and collaboration with the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO).
Provides day-to-day coaching and support to the EPMO Project Coaches and divisional project management staff in support of enterprise project management information systems, tools and templates to ensure alignment of technology solutions to Project Management Life Cycle.
Skills:
• Broad IT SDLC knowledge and high technical expertise across all technology architectures, devices, and protocols
• Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors and vendors; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives
• Proficient in managing and developing relationships with multiple technical vendors
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and to communicate with C level management
• Demonstrated ability to deliver highly technical information to less technical individuals
