Title: .Net Developer

Duration : 6+ months

Seeking experienced website developers to assist in the re-write of several website applications from Classic ASP and VB6 COM DLLs to Microsoft .NET.

This is a 6 – 9 month contract position. 

 

The project will involve the re-write of several website applications from Classic ASP and VB6 COM DLLs to Microsoft .NET.  This is very important!!!!!

 

Candidates should possess the following:

·         Strong C# 3.5 or 4.0 skills.

·         Experience writing WCF web services.

·         Strong SQL 2008 skills.

·         Experience with Classic ASP and VB6 COM DLLs.

·         Experience with Active Directory

·         Knowledge of website security best practices.

·         Experience converting websites from older technologies to .NET.

·         Experience upgrading from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008.

·         Strong analytical skills.

·         Strong testing and debugging skills.
