DIRECT CLIENT REQ

Contract Position

Location: NYC, NY

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate system test activities with the business and development teams.
  • Work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to ensure features/products achieve desired level of quality. Influence the inclusion of testability during design and development phases.
  • Review business requirements and design specifications to identify gaps and ensure documented business requirements are clear, consistent and testable.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases as well as report test results following defined standards and processes.
  • Accountable for timeliness and quality delivery of all technical deliverables including test cases, test reports, requirements traceability documents, functional readiness matrices, and test summary reports.
  • Mange the handling of Production Support Issues. Understand the issue, schedule for resolution, work with relevant teams for fixing, test and resolve the issue meeting the set SLAs for resolution.
  • Communicate efficiently with developers in order to fix issues.
  • Work with cross functional teams, multiple projects, production issues

 

Experience:

 

Technical

  • Manual Testing
  • Very Strong SQL and analytical skills
  • Data Analysis and mining skills
  • Understanding of Web Services, WS testing, and test tools such as ServiceTest and SoapUI.
  • MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for other documentation-related activities

 

Non-Technical

  • Experience in Health Information Systems and Medical Claims .
  • 5-7 years QA Experience
  • Four year college degree with engineering background (preferably in Computer Science) or equivalent experience
  • Experience with metrics definition and measurements of quality
  • Must have great analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to concisely document defects and test results
  • Solid understanding of QA best practices

 

REQUIREMENT THREE- Performance Tester- NJ

DIRECT CLIENT REQ

Contract Position

Location: Princeton, NJ

Only Green Cards and Citizens PLEASE!!! (no corp-corp only on w2)

Contractor Responsibilities:

Performance testing – writing/updating QTP scripts & loadrunner scripts –expert level. Execution of the scripts and preparation of result stats. Interpretation of performance results.

Required Skills:

 

Total IT must be 8 plus yrs of exp.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in
    • Application (J2EE and .Net) problem identification and resolution across the entire data center
    • Application monitoring and reporting across the entire data center
    • Application design to maximize end-user performance
    • Web architecture and applications delivery over the Internet
    • Applications development and SQL
  • Experience in HP QTP (Quick Test Professional) is a must
  • Experience in HP Load Runner is desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in application performance testing and optimization
  • Success working in a collaboration manner across a global organization, in a matrix environment, where there are conflicting and competing priorities
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communications skills with the ability to express technology matters in business terms. Representing the organization and the Firm in a professional manner within other professional organizations and peer industry organizations is required
  • Preferred experience in working with multinational operations teams located in different countries
  • Knowledge of emerging technology solutions, industry trends, and progressive operations methodology
