Project Background:
- This company has completed the ICD-10 Assessment and started to evolve their high-level roadmap in the pursuit of a dual processing approach to address ICD-10 remediation needs.
- Remediation requirements analysis will require particular attention in evaluation of ICD-10 Financial Neutrality, which will provide input and context into the business rules and future state requirements for the design of the Solution Architecture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry.
- Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
- Facilitates development of business requirements and recommendations to proposed solutions.
- Develops use scenarios and use cases to support refinement of business requirements
- Develops functional specifications and system design specifications.
- Designs and supports execution of test scenarios and test scripts.
- Ensures risks and issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
- Manages changes related to work plans and deadlines.
- Manages resources in accordance with project schedule and resource assignment
- Communicates and applies project standards.
- Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients.
- Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project.
Project Requirements:
- Prepare this company for ICD-10 program detailed requirements and design for remediation solution and conceptual architecture development
- Review the current state business and technology landscape to create business process blueprints as the basis for defining ICD-10 Financial Neutrality business requirements
- Provide business and technology teams with process structure to develop use scenarios and use cases for defining ICD-10 Financial Neutrality business requirements
- Support preparation for future state ICD-10 solution architecture definitions within Claims & Benefits, Medical Policy, Data Management/Decision Support and Provider Networks
- Support ICD-10 program with configuration team (e.g. BEG) process analysis for initial remediation design development
- Support ICD-10 program with refinement of the overall ICD-10 roadmap and related resource requirements
Skills and Specifications:
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Powerpoint, Project, Outlook, and Excel.
- Solid mathematical aptitude and effective project management skills.
- Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
- Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver.
- Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or any related field from an accredited institution.
- Master's degree in Business Administration is an added advantage.
