QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Two to five years of related work experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

Able to recognize and analyze complex problems, develop remediation recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.

Advanced organizational and planning skills.

Advanced written and oral communications skills.

Good human relations skills necessary for clear communication with supervisor and peers and cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel.

Working knowledge of systems design and analysis techniques, routine testing and debugging procedures, and documentation methods.

Working knowledge of database design, naming standards, and database data access methods.

Working knowledge of database structures and their implementation.

Working knowledge of CA-IDMS and/or Microsoft SQL Server preferred.

Exposure to mainframe and client/server environments.

Demonstrated expertise working with SQL Server 2005/2008 including database development, maintenance, and support/problem resolution.

Significant knowledge and demonstrated experience with SQL Reporting Services, SQL performance tuning and database management, and SQL partitioning is preferred.
