Job Description

?Core member of SAP application support team responsible for user issue management resolution

o Partners with other team members as necessary to troubleshoot issues and recommend course of action for resolution

o Manages change cycle for configuration and development referred to Production Support Scrum team

o Provides analytical support for critical application issues on a 24/7 basis

o Researches system behavior with recommendations for performance tuning, data maintenance, or configuration changes in an effort to maintain system health

 

? Required skills

o 4+ years in a Production Support environment

o 6+ years professional experience in SAP operations and configuration

? Working knowledge of 3 or more of these core SAP modules: SD, MM, FI, COPA, PP, WM, PM, CRM, SCM, SRM.

? Proven hands-on SAP configuration experience in two of the above modules.

? Solid understanding of one of the following business processes: Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Manufacture to Inventory, Treasury Management, Real Estate Management.

? Excellent customer service skills

? Solid knowledge of general SAP solutions and modules

? Solid understanding of technical issues 锟紺 idoc processing, batch processing, BADIs, BAPIs, EDI, and middleware

 

? Key success characteristics

o Proven problem solving skills 锟紺 ability to troubleshoot and quickly identify root cause of issues, then provide steps to resolution and recovery of impacted transactions.

o Superior collaboration and communication skills 锟紺 ability to develop productive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders; lead without formal authority; guide teams to appropriate outcomes

o Accountable and empowered 锟紺 ability to take responsibility, self-start to ensure realization of desired business outcomes
