Duration = 6 - 8 months

Pay = $45.00-47.00/hr  C2C

Resources = Client need two consultants

 

FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW REQUIRED

 

Business Intelligence Developer:

 

Job Responsibilities:

•          Responsible for understanding key measures, transactions, dimensions, and success factors of the clients US business.

•          Gather requirements from business leaders or process requirements from other BI team members.

•          Construct prototype and finished BI objects using primarily Cognos front end and Microsoft technologies.

•          Provide 2nd level support for IT operations in the areas of daily processes that support BI services.

•          Provide estimates of time and cost for BI deliverables.

•          Manage deliverables according to committed time and costs.

 Skills:

•          Ability to gather requirements from business leaders or process requirements from other BI team members.

•          Excellent organizational and documentation skills including technical writing in areas such as metadata, entity-relationship diagrams, database schema, etc.

•          Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 BI tools.

•          Superb command of SSIS and SSAS.

•          Proficiency in Cognos Analysis and Report Studio 8.4.

•          Excellent business/tech crossover communication skills.

•          Excellent analytical skills.

 Experience:

•          Microsoft SQL Server 2005 BI tools, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS – minimum of 3 years hands-on experience.

•          Cognos Analysis and Report Studio v8.4 experience.

•          Experience in a full life-cycle BI implementation.

•          Familiarity with Data Warehousing Best Practices.

 

Preferred Education & Training:

•         Bachelor's degree preferred.
