Role: Business Systems Analyst with Financial industry background
Burbank, CA
Length: 9-12 month position
Main Responsibilities:
- Systems analysis, business process definition, process re-engineering and improvement
- Drives analysis needs to resolve day-to-day production issues
- Develops business analysis deliverables, including but not limited to workflows and process models, business requirements, use cases, and business rules
- Develops requirements and testing specifications for moderate to complex system enhancements
- Participate in full lifecycle application development
- Develop and manage application release communications
Qualified Candidates will meet or exceed the following requirements:
- 5+ years in business systems analysis with at least 2 years of experience with large scale and complex systems
- Strong understanding of financial applications (contract administration, revenue accounting, forecasting)
- Experience with multi-tiered architectures, including UI design, business rules layer, and basic data architecture
- Excellent communication abilities - written and oral
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Effectively manage own time according to agreed-to priorities
- Proven project management skills
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
- Ability to multitask - will be supporting multiple projects in parallel
Tools - Demonstrated proficiency in the below will be highly regarded:
Reporting - MicroStrategy, Crystal Reports
Project Management - MS Project
Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio
Education:
Bachelors Degree in MIS or Business Administration
Other Desirable Skills:
Financial industry background a plus. Revenue Accounting, Forecasting, and Intellectual property licensing experience preferred.
