Need someone with Informatica Powercenter 8 exp. 4 month contract position in Portland Oregon. $50HR.
Must have excellent communication skills. Must be available immediately.
Requirements
Experience developing mappings with Informatica Power Center v8.x is required.
Experience in Informatica IDE/IDQ is plus.
Data analysis experience is a plus.
Must be able to design database tables to support ETL (staging tables, work tables, audit tables, etc) Strong written and oral communication skills required. This position requires interaction with business and development stakeholders, including management.
Experience with SQL Server and Oracle. Experience in Cache and DB2 is plus.
Must have strong SQL skills and be able analyze existing in-database transformations using SQL (updates, stored procedures, macros, views).
Experience in data warehousing/Business Intelligence projects.
Experience in migrating ETL packages across platform such SQL Server DTS/SSIS to Informatica is plus.
Certified ETL developer in related technology is preferable.
Participate in the on-call activities as needed.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with appropriate resources to assist in developing data model for the ODS databases.
Participate in project meetings.
Refine data extraction process for Clinical data warehouse to add additional data from smaller source systems.
Develop ETL processes to extract, transform and load data into the ODS Oracle database.
Develop effective error handling and monitoring to notify about the ETL process failures.
Create documentation including Visio diagrams to document the architecture.
Key Deliverables
Multiple ODSs, including associated ETL processes, for clinical and non-clinical applications.
Weekly status reports.
Documentation for each ODS database and associated ETL process(s).
