Job Title: Java J2EE Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12+ Months
Skillset Requirements:
*5+ years of J2EE 1.4/J2SE 5.0 or above development experience.
* 3 years of development experience of multi-threaded, client-server applications.
* 3 years of experience developing long lived, highly concurrent, multithreaded server side processes including JVM behavior, GC tuning, networking, and caching.
* 2 year of experience with Java persistence models, implementations, including SQL, JDBC, ORM solutions, Query Abstraction models as well as familiarity with different databases. Hibernate is highly desirable.
* Experience with caching models, eviction policies and concurrency issues associated with synchronizing caches with a system of record across multiple processes desired but not required.
* Experience working with different transport protocols such as RMI, SOAP, REST and clean payload interface design including Java Interfaces, WSDL and XML Schema.
* Experience profiling server side applications to find hotspots for memory consumption and performance improvements.
* Experience working in a production support organization, carrying a duty pager, managing bridge calls, and escalating issues is required
* Experience experience working with Websphere
* Experience working with DB2 database, stored procedures, writing complex SQL
* Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience required
