Job Description:

Relevant Experience (Yrs): 8 YRS

• Installation, Upgrade, Migration and applying Service Packs
for SQL Server Database, SSIS, SSRS Software.
• Creation of Databases and handling database configuration
changes.
• Setting up of Database Maintenance Plans or creation of SQL
Jobs for DBCC, Database reorganization etc.
• Performing database backup and restores from disk or tape
• Perform database refreshes including BCP operations
Setting up of Database Replication, DR database setup and monitoring

• Monitoring SQL Server Error log, Database, SQL jobs
Monitoring and troubleshooting to fix the errors.
• Database Query /Instance monitoring and tuning for optimal
performance
• Database User, Security Administration and audit setup.
• Handling Development community requests per agreed standards
and SLA's
Working with support groups for smooth functioning of the SQL Server
Environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and
demonstrated ability to lead others
• Team Management
• Minimum Six years of relevant work experience
• Experience with SQL required
• Understanding of Accounting terminology a plus
• Experience setting up test scenarios
• Experience/understanding of business process reengineering
and business modeling concepts, business systems development and
analysis
• Awareness of the business and IT strategy
• Basic understanding of the company's business practices and
familiarity with the company's products and services
• Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include
solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
