Software QA Engineer (Need 10 years Consultants)

Location: Chicago Area

Duration: 4 months

Rate: $$/hr + (Travel expenses covered by client)

Start: 9/10/12

 

Requested Skills & Experiences

 

8+ years of QA Testing Methodology in both an Agile and Waterfall process.  Must work well within agile scrums and operate fully in various length sprints to analyze, build and execute test cases

5+ years of experience developing, building and executing tests for:  Functional, Regression, Performance, Integration, Infrastructure and Interoperability testing for vFabric

5+ years of experience in major Testing tools, specifically Selenium, Quality Center, QuickTestPro and LoadRunner. 

Selenium test case development

LoadRunner

Build and report on key QA Test Metrics as defined in the Master Test Plan

 

Desired Skills & Experiences

 

JUnit

Behavior Driven Development/Testing with Cucumber

JIRA would be used for Bug Tracking & Defect Management.

Prior experience with big distributed enterprise systems

Java Spring Applications experience

Ruby / Dynamic Language

VMware Cloud Virtualization technologies including vCloud Director

Provisioning using tools such as Puppet, Chef, VMware AppDirector

Awareness of private cloud architectures in large enterprises
