Role: Oracle Support DBA

 

Job Description:
•             Primarily a production DBA for Oracle 10g & 11g that are setup on ASM
•             Database installation and configuration
•             Installation and configurations experience in ASM, Oracle Grid, Data guard, RMAN, Replication etc…
•             Performance monitoring and capacity planning
•             Providing high quality support for the live systems and  non-production
•             Resolving incidentsand determining the root cause of problems and identifying solutions
•             Database hardening – Security , clustering & Stand by
•             Database Backup
•             Patch upgrade
•             Security compliance
•             Audit trail monitoring
•             Co-ordination with development & project team
•             DR setup and testing
•             Change management process

Profile:

•             All the above responsibilities

 

Skills:
•             Good hands on experience on Oracle 10g& 11g databases
•             Direct customer interaction
•             Work independently in a highly critical and complex situations
•             24x7 Database support
•             Good Communication skills

 

Certifications:
•             OCP Oracle 9i / Oracle 10g. (Good to have, not mandatory)
