The Interview process is a Skype with  initially, talking with client for technical screen, then another interview with client with a computer test while online meeting with team.

 

 Description of Position:

 

This position requires an Analyst-level developer, capable of quickly and completely understanding a complex system and development environment. The typical assignment consists of fully analyzing and accurately cataloging existing functionality for a service written in C, migrating the service to VB.NET using Visual Studio. The developer is expected to gain a complete understanding of the various aspects of the feature from existing code and use of the existing application, be able to demonstrate that understanding during meetings and progress reviews, and ask appropriate questions to fill in the gaps. When performing the actual coding, the developer is expected to work independently, drawing from existing experience with .NET as well as documentation of in-house API's, product standards, and coding standards.

Individual should possess:

o Capable of reading and understanding C code, and accurately translate it to VB.NET.

· A minimum of 3 years professional paid experience as a .NET developer.

· A minimum of 6 months programming windows applications using WPF.

· A solid understanding of .NET 3.0 or above (at least 2 years experience).

· A solid understanding of the features and usage of Visual Studio .NET 2008 or above (at least 2 years' experience using 2005 or above, and 6 months using 2008 or above)

· Solid analysis and Problem-solving skills

o Comfortable presenting work for review to groups of 10 or more persons.
