Position: Mainframe Developer

Location: St Louis, MO

Duration: 18 Months

MAX RATE: $40-$45/hr on C2C

 

Job Responsibilities

Analyze, design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs

Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans

Provide quality assurance reviews

Ability to perform lead analyst role is a plus

 

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, etc. preferred or equivalent experience in information systems

Five or more years experience in software development and support in COBOL

Knowledge of financial services industry is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor, as required

 

Practical experience with the following:

• Cobol

•JCL

•DB2

•IDMS is a plus

•Expediter tools for testing

•CICS
