Strong Sharepoint API development experience

Experience with 2007/2010 Sharepoint Records Management

Experience with 2007/2010 Sharepoint Document Management

Experience with 2007/2010 Sharepoint search, experience with FAST search a plus.

Experience/familiarity with taxonomy or metadata management Services.

Excellent communication skills, independent worker.

 

Sharepoint Developer

Overview:

• Creation of SharePoint solutions and custom features

• Creation of site and list templates

• Familiar with collaboration in Team Foundation Server

• Familiarity with the .Net Framework (namespaces and classes)

• Support application environment in conjunction with ongoing vendor upgrade path .

• Experience in capture and migration mechanisms, metadata and indexing, taxonomies. Experience with Managed Metadata services a plus.

• Experience in process improvements, automation, workflow and search and retrieval technologies

•

 

Requirements:

·         5-7 years of Sharepoint development experience

·         Experience with Sharepoint development preferably 2010 experience

·         Proficiency in Web application development (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript and jQuery)

·         Microsoft SQL Server development experience

·         Knowledgeable in MS Office tools (Access, Excel, Word and Power Point), MS Project, and Visio

• SharePoint Governance Policy Development is a plus
• Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator and listener.
• Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
